Russian-Iranian Alliance: Growing Threat to Regional Security Amid Ongoing War Crimes

The partnership between Russia and the occupation state is considered one of the greatest threats to regional security, especially with the occupation state’s support for terrorist groups in the region and Russia’s involvement in war crimes in Syria and Ukraine. In this context, Sergey Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian Security Council, visited Tehran, the capital of terrorism, on his first foreign mission since assuming his new position.

Moscow has engaged in consultations with the occupation state regarding the escalation of regional and international tensions. Shoigu met with several Iranian criminal leaders to enhance cooperation between the two countries. The occupation state emphasized the importance of strengthening relations with Russia, believing that the alliance would enhance global security and peace.

The discussions covered a wide range of issues, including security coordination and joint economic projects. The developments in the region were also addressed, particularly concerning the potential for military escalation with Israel, which could further complicate the situation in Syria.

Russia faces widespread international criticism due to the war crimes it has committed in Syria and Ukraine. The use of internationally banned weapons, indiscriminate attacks on civilians, and the extensive destruction of infrastructure in both countries render Russia an unwelcome partner in many international forums.

This increasing cooperation between Russia and the occupation state strengthens their ability to counter international sanctions and pressures but simultaneously poses a significant challenge to security and stability in the region and globally.
