The Ahwazi Democratic Popular Front welcomes the United Kingdom’s decision requiring all individuals working for the Iranian regime in Britain to register under the Foreign Influence Registration Scheme, under penalty of legal accountability. The Front considers this decision an important step in limiting the influence of Iranian institutions that serve as tools for espionage, sabotage, and the spread of terrorism in Europe.
The Iranian regime, through its embassies and various institutions, exploits diplomatic presence as a cover for intelligence activities and support for terrorist cells, posing a direct threat to the security and stability of Britain and all European countries. Therefore, we call on the British government to take firmer measures, including the closure of the Iranian embassy and all affiliated institutions, as they serve as hubs for espionage and conspiracy against Britain’s security and international stability.
Countering Iran’s destabilising influence is not only a security necessity for Britain but also an international responsibility to protect global peace and security from the threats posed by the Iranian regime and its terrorist arms in the region and the world.
