Airlines Avoid Airspace of Occupying State Iran and Lebanon Amid Rising Tensions

Amid escalating tensions in the region following the deaths of senior leaders in Hamas and Hezbollah, Egypt and the UK have issued warnings to their airlines to avoid the airspace of both the Occupying State and Lebanon.

The UK has advised its airlines to avoid Lebanese airspace, while Egypt has instructed its airlines to steer clear of the airspace of the Occupying State for three hours on Thursday morning.

These warnings come amid fears of a potential wider conflict in the region. Many airlines have started adjusting their schedules to avoid the airspace of both the Occupying State and Lebanon, as well as canceling flights to Israel and Lebanon.

According to the flight tracking site “Flight Radar 24,” there are currently no scheduled flights operated by British airlines to Lebanon.

At the same time, Egyptian airlines have begun avoiding the airspace of the Occupying State. Mark Z, founder of the “OPS Group,” which shares information on flight risks, confirmed that the warning for Thursday applies to all Egyptian airlines, including charter and smaller carriers.
