The United Nations General Assembly has passed a resolution for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

With the approval of 153 countries, opposition from 10 countries, including the United States, and 23 countries abstaining, the United Nations General Assembly has passed a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Although this resolution is not binding, as noted by Joe Biden, President of the United States, it demonstrates the weakness of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government in continuing the war against Hamas in Gaza. This second resolution by the United Nations General Assembly aims to halt the war in Gaza.
